Holiday Mixer - Networking

Hey there! I truly had a great time at my Holiday Mixer that I hosted under both of my company names and Firm 27.  It was a great networking opportunity and a nice turnout.  If you are not a net worker, you might as well stand in concrete.  It is so much easier to navigate through life with the right resources and connections and the best way to those things, is networking.  Networking can be the key to your next job, house, daycare, good book or best used vehicle.  The possibilities are endless and so are the opportunities for networking.  So if your not doing it- get to networking!

When your friends fail you....

What are you suppose to do?  You may ask.  Fuck em'.  Seriously, I happen to be going through this right now.  In a time when I need friends to support me, I am finding my support in the oddest of places, but definitely not among the bulk of those I called friends. 

Having put on my big girls pants, I'm moving forward with out them.  So in a few years, they will be mumbling, "I knew her when...." and I'll be shouting. "I'm Rich Bitch!"

So put on your big girl/boy pants and start a list of all those people who are going mumbling when your shouting.

Welcome

New to blogging but not writing I begin this journey with a timid first step.  My name is Jackie Jones- mother, entrepreneur, friend, sister, aunt, mentor, leader, follower, author, educated, blunt, fun and above all- a survivor. My life has led me to be the owner of two companies,  mother of two children and inspiration to many.  I hope to use this blog to talk about my challenges, my projects, successes and of course my journey through life.
